"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Because a friend of mine has been having problems with someone reporting violations against her icon sets, I find it better to be safe than sorry and will not post icons unless they're PURELY done by me from scratch or using my own images. When I get the Citrus Circus up and running I'll post anything that's not posted here, there.
You'd think giving credit would be good enough for deviantART and I highly doubt someone they'd get sued seeing this is a free service and I don't think people sell images do they? Whatever.
